UPDATED: 3/15/2023

The road to recovery for Syria and Türkiye will be long, and MSF is determined to provide support for the challenges ahead. Our ability to deliver aid relies on the generosity of supporters like you. Thanks to unrestricted funds to MSF, we mobilize at a moment’s notice—just as we did in Syria, Ukraine, Haiti, and in other past emergencies—and make a lasting impact long after a crisis fades from the headlines.

How has MSF helped in Syria?
- Relief items distributed: 30,232
- Mobile clinic consultations: 5,667
- Mental health consultations: 450
- Medical supplies donated: 27 tons
- Hospitals supported: 32

In Türkiye, MSF is working in partnership with local nongovernmental and civil society organizations to provide donations of essential supplies.

Most of the 70+ countries where we work have long-term needs. That's why MSF maintains a presence in so many places—so that when emergencies strike, we can be ready. And it's why flexible funding, the kind that isn't earmarked toward a specific project or country, is so important: it gives us the steady support we need to act quickly, in an emergency, and wherever the need is greatest.

And, thank you for your incredible generosity - and that of thousands of other MSF donors who gave to support our response to this developing crisis and medical needs around the world. Thank you for staying true to the spirit of MSF’s global movement.
