The Salvation Army of Wadsworth provides a wide range of programs and services.
Community Services include food pantry which provides food packages for the needy in Wadsworth. In 2017, almost 2,500 food packages were provided to more than 1,000 families. The Salvation Army also provides a hot dinner meal during the last five business days of each month. 938 meals were provided in 2017.
Programs for community members are held at the College Street location. These programs include Women's’ Ministries, Men's’ Ministries, and Youth Programs. More than 600 individuals attended programs at The Salvation Army last year.
The Learning Zone program has 23 students enrolled and offers a place for students to strengthen their reading, math and social skills in a safe setting. The Salvation Army also conducts a Summer Learning Program which provides 7 weeks of fun and learning to 20 students.
