Help Children Affected by Hurricane Idalia

by SAVE THE CHILDREN FEDERATION INC

Hurricane Idalia made landfall in Florida as a dangerous Category 3 storm on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 bringing life-threatening winds and storm surge.

Save the Children has supported children’s most critical needs following hurricanes along the Gulf Coast since 2005—including Hurricanes Ian, Michael and Irma—and has long-standing partners within the region.

Save the Children is responding to Hurricane Idalia by:
- Coordinating with education and childcare centers, community partners and first responders to meet the unique needs of children impacted in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina
- Working with partners to distribute pre-positioned supplies, including diapers, wipes and hygiene kits
- Releasing funds from our Children's Emergency Fund to jumpstart support

Donate to the Children’s Emergency Fund today to help support kids in the wake of disasters in the US, like Hurricane Idalia.
