Myanmar Earthquake | Children’s Emergency Fund
par SAVE THE CHILDREN FEDERATION INCA devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake has hit Myanmar, marking the most powerful earthquake to strike in over a century. Our teams are moving quickly, but it's crucial that we act now to provide support to the thousands of people in need.
Children in Myanmar need immediate shelter and to be kept safe from harm following the powerful earthquakes that struck multiple regions, with tremors causing destruction in Thailand as well.
Over the coming days and weeks, we'll work alongside local partners to scale up critical support to children across the most impacted areas. This will include:
• Distributing emergency relief items and providing clean water, as well as cash assistance to families who have lost their homes and belongings
• Providing health services through mobile health teams
• Offering psychological support to children and their caregivers
• Supporting children's education by distributing learning materials and setting up safe learning environments
Help now by supporting our Children’s Emergency Fund, which allows us to effectively prepare, respond quickly and support children's recovery in disasters in the U.S. and around the world, like the earthquake in Myanmar.
