The Salvation Army provides social services on a non-discriminatory basis according to the needs of those to be served and the capacity, both financial and programmatic, of the specific services provided to address those needs. As an organization, The Salvation Army is unique in that it is spiritual in motivation, social in service, religious in mission and humanitarian in action. The Salvation Army renders its services to all, based upon individual need, and gives without regard to race, creed, or individual circumstances. In return for the assistance it renders, The Salvation Army asks only that the recipients

The Salvation Army of Danbury provides an array of social services intended to meet the immediate needs of those it serves. Programs include: a food pantry, emergency assistance, rental and utility aid, youth activities, feeding programs, school readiness services, summer camp activities, seasonal assistance.
