Ukraine Emergency Fundraiser

With the continuing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine playing out daily before our eyes, we remain compelled to help Ukrainians endure the otherwise unendurable by channeling medical support to those on the front lines, to those who have had to flee their homes, and to children and orphans. The recipient of this campaign, Sunflower of Peace, is a Boston-based 501(C)(3) established for these purposes and has been working in Ukraine since 2014. They deliver lifesaving medical backpacks to save the lives of both soldiers and civilians caught in harm's way. They partner with Massachusetts General Hospital to treat the severely wounded here in the US, and they are also partnering with humanitarian aid providers both within and beyond Ukraine's borders to assist displaced women and children suffering from the trauma, including orphans. The campaign culminates in a live event at The Stissing Center in Pine Plains, NY, Sunday, June 5, 2022, being organized by Mark Lagus from GF's East Fishkill site.
