Doação de US$5.000,00September 15 marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month! In conjunction with the celebration of independence for several Latin American countries, Hispanic Heritage Month is a time of cultural celebration and education on the achievements of Latinx people.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, GlobalGives and Unidos, GF’s Latinx/Hispanic employee resource group, have partnered to identify causes that support and uplift those respective communities.
Read about the chosen nonprofits below. All donations made through this giving opportunity, which will spread your donation equally amongst the listed causes below, will receive a special 2:1 match during Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15), provided that the employee has not met their $1K USD per employee per year matching cap.
- Hispanic Federation, Inc. works to uplift millions of Hispanic children, youth, and families locally and nationally through building the capacity of Latino nonprofits, public policy advocacy, and a portfolio of innovative community programs."
- Hispanic Scholarship Fund is the nation’s leading provider of scholarships and services designed to give Latino students full access to the opportunity a college education can provide.
- 100 Hispanic Women Inc. aims to inspire Latinas to maximize their strength and potential in order to become equal partners in an empowered world with equal opportunity.
- Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities serves to champion Hispanic success in higher education.
- Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement strives to positively impact the American workplace by cultivating the pipeline of Latino talent
- Hispanic Heritage Foundation inspires, prepares, positions and connects minority leaders in the classroom, community and workforce to meet America’s priorities.
- HISPA, Inc. mobilizes Hispanic professionals to eradicate one key reason why our youth does not pursue education: a lack of role models.
Additionally, GlobalFoundries has made a corporate donation of $25,000 USD to the Hispanic Access Foundation in our continued effort to promote social justice and welfare.
