The Salvation Army is a non-profit organization, called to assist those on the margins of life 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. In Derry, The Salvation Army is always there to extend a helping hand to those with physical and spiritual needs. The Salvation Army in Derry provides help through direct emergency assistance, a food pantry, meal programs, a traveling canteen, and after school program. With the canteen, The Salvation Army in Derry is able to bring nutrious lunches directly to low income neighborhoods throughout the summer.
