The Salvation Army in Greater Rochester was established in 1884 to support people in need across the Monroe County and Finger Lakes region. We offer a wide array of services including providing food through our Emergency & Family Services program, clothing and shelter to the homeless, and counseling and ministry through our community churches. In keeping with our over 135-year-old mission, our vision is to serve the whole person, body, mind, and spirit, with integrity and respect, using creative solutions to positively transform lives.
