Help GlobalGives Support the Emergency Response to the Flooding in Vermont

The National Weather Service has described the recent flash flooding in Vermont as “catastrophic,” causing damage to infrastructure, homes, and property within the state. The damage and destruction are reminiscent of 2023, when the state experienced historic flooding, and many of the regions impacted by last year’s storms are once again burdened with the need to clean up and repair.

GlobalFoundries is incredibly proud of how our employees respond to disasters like this, and GlobalGives has decided to extend the 200% matching for all employee donations to support causes that help on the ground in the affected areas. 

This campaign will build on GlobalGive's previous donations, which, thanks to $7500 USD in starting funds in July 2023 and 200% matching for all employee donations, helped us collect over $57K for regional causes and affected communities.

All donations to this giving opportunity will be shared across five organizations, including The Red Cross, Vermont Foodbank, The Vermont Community Foundation, United Ways of Vermont, and The Salvation Army - Northern New England Division. 

Your donation will provide those in need with food, drinking water, and medical assistance. GF will offer 200% matching for your donations to this giving opportunity. All employees receive up to $1K USD in company matching per employee per year.
