A general operating request allows The Salvation Army to utilize a gift for emergency services that are in the greatest need at the time the gift is received whether that combats homelessness, food insecurity, or aids in homelessness prevention. The Salvation Army continues to provide social services in five Corps Community Centers located in low-income neighborhoods in Greater Cleveland and East Cleveland. Fighting hunger is a priority in all five locations, and our community’s need for emergency food assistance is about to increase
